Season of the Stag: 4 Great Alternative Stag Dos (Part 2)

Posted on Posted in Stag Do Activities

In our last blog we took a look at two really interesting alternative stag do ideas, and we think that we came up with some unbelievable options. For some though, a DIY music festival or outdoor activities in Scotland may not be possible, thankfully we’re back with part 2, and we’ve got a couple more brilliant ideas for you.

Your stag do is an opportunity for you to do something extraordinary, so why waste it on a trip to the local night clubs? Check out the options below for some incredible ideas for your stag do!

Grand Tour

Originally a grand tour involved the upper classes taking months out of their (ahem) busy schedules in order to visit some of the more beautiful parts of the world. Now though the grand tour is something entirely different and can be altered to suit your needs. Whether you want to visit several places in Britain or even venture further afield into Europe, it is undoubtedly a great idea for a stag do!

All you need is a group of friends and a car/a few cars and you’re away, scout out a route before setting off though. Oh and one thing that it pays to remember is ‘if you can fit a spare in, never leave it behind’ it’s very easy to lose even the most vital things.

Live action role playing is the practice of physically acting out characters’ actions in a controlled setting. Whilst it was once seen as a geeky practice, it is now big business and there are centres all over the country, which not only have space but supplies as well, allowing you to LARP to your hearts content.

A day full of running round, weapon in hand, with a group of your closest friends followed by a night of partying is surely pretty high up there on the list of best possible stag dos possible.

Whichever option you choose, one thing that we encourage for anyone that’s going on a stag do in the near future and that is to have as much fun as possible!
