Absolutely Scotland harnesses the experience, expertise and local knowledge of a large number of people across Scotland to provide you with relaxed, trouble-free enjoyment – wherever and whatever you choose. This army of gamekeepers, ghillies, hoteliers, drivers, instructors, entertainers, etc is too numerous to mention here but we are pleased to give you brief details of some of the core members of our team who you are likely to meet.As one of Scotland’s most sought after sporting and countryside managers, Bill has devoted his life to introducing clients to opportunities in Scotland’s countryside.
Whether arranging family or social outings or blue chip corporate events, the policy remains the same. “The aim is quite simple.” he states, “Excellent hospitality and sporting action in beautiful surroundings forge memories that will remain forever.” He recognises that not everyone’s skills are similar and ensures maximum enjoyment by making certain that expert instruction is available whenever required. “I find that the challenge of mastering a new skill or technique brings even greater satisfaction at the end of the day.”

Alex has been working with Absolutely Scotland since about 1999 and is our talented mechanic/fitter who also helps in a variety of areas in the team building field. Alex has a very genuine happy-go-lucky nature and gets on well with all our clients.

A gamekeeper for many years, John has worked with us since 1997. Obviously well suited to being a clay pigeon instructor, he also helps out with team building and off road driving days - often being in charge of day events. John is the ideal person to take charge of our walking tours as well as our simulated deer stalking and simulated game shoots. He is, of course, fully first aid trained.

Eric is our 4×4 off road trainer for companies and individuals who require safety awareness and certification. He also provides the 4×4 experiences on our activity days for the corporate and private sectors.

We have been blessed (or should it be lumbered?) with Eric for many years now and all the clients love his humour and easy going manner. Having also been a gamekeeper he is ideal for your clay pigeon instruction and is another of our 4×4 driving instructors.

Euan joined us in 2000 and is one of our main quad instructors. He also is responsible for the shooting simulation event that we have for group entertainment.

Mick has been with us since 1997 and is a very likeable, knowledgeable and experienced person. He is fully First Aided. Mick is also a trained Land Rover mechanic.

Stuart has been involved with Absolutely Scotland since 1997 and is our main man for the archery. He also is adaptable and regularly instructs in team building, 4×4 driving, mini highland games among others. Stuart is also a full First Aid certificate holder.

Jane is one of our team building instructors who has worked with us since 1998. Jane is also a very experienced off-road instructor and is fully First Aided.

Sandy is our 4×4 off road instructor. Highly experienced in tackling all types of terrain and natural obstacles, Sandy also specialises in the corporate and private groups driving experiences. Sandy is also fully First Aided.

Jim is one of our clay pigeon instructors and, being an ex-gamekeeper, is very experienced. Jim has a very likeable personality and again adapts to instruct on archery and team games. As is most of our team he is fully First Aided.

George has been with us for many years and is one of our clay and archery instructors. With a mechanic/fitter background, he also is our multi-adaptable “Mr Fixit”. George is an extremely helpful person and a very competent instructor and, of course, is fully first aid certificated.
