Please note that our office postcode should not be used for
driving directions or satnav programming as it is some miles away in a different
direction from our activities!

From North of Stirling
(ie Perth, Inverness, Dundee, etc)
[Satnav users should programme their instruments for
Junction 10 on the M9 motorway and then follow the directions
below] |
| Leave the M9 Motorway at
Junction 10 [A84 to Stirling]. Approximately 4.7 miles to the
Activity Centre |
| 1. At the first roundabout off the slip road take
third exit [Ring Road and Business
Park]. At the next roundabout, take second exit [Ring Road]. At
the next roundabout, take second exit. Stirling Castle should now be above you
on your left |
| 2. At the roundabout/junction with the A811 (which is
the road to Drymen, Kippen, etc)
turn left for 150 metres |
| 3. Take first road on the right (about 300 metres) and
King's Park Golf Club should be on your right |
| 4. Continue up this road until you get to the top
where there is a set of two mini-roundabouts. Turn right at the first
mini-roundabout and then straight across at the second |
| 5. Carry on up this road with "Kings Park" on your
right and at the next roundabout, go straight across. At the next roundabout,
again go straight across. After 300 metres "King's Park Hospital" should be on
your right |
| 6. Take the first turning on your right about another
300 metres past the Hospital [Cambusbarron 1.5
miles]. Cross the Motorway and at the next junction turn left
[Polmaise Road]. Set your
Speedometer Trip to Zero and drive for exactly 2.2
miles | |
From South of
Stirling
(ie Edinburgh, Glasgow, Carlisle,
etc)
[Satnav users should programme their instruments for
Junction 9 on the M9 motorway and then follow the directions
below] |
| Leave the M9 Motorway at
Junction 9 [Granada Services Junction]. Approximately 5.5 miles to
the Activity Centre |
| 1. At the roundabout for Junction 9 go round until you
cross over the Motorway and then take the first turning on to the A872 [Tourist Route, Whins of Milton] |
| 2. Continue on the A872 for 1.65 miles, crossing a
mini-roundabout, until you reach the next roundabout. Turn left here and a Shell
Petrol Station should be on your left. |
| 3. Carry on for 0.2 miles then turn left at the
traffic lights (with a Sommerfield's supermarket on your right. |
| 4. Go along for 0.6 miles and then turn left over the
Motorway. [Cambusbarron 1.5 miles].
(Note: there are some minor access roads into housing areas before you cross the
Motorway - these should be ignored) |
| 5. At the T junction after you have crossed the
Motorway, turn left [Polmaise Road].
Set your Speedometer Trip to Zero and drive for exactly 2.2
miles |
| 6. Go to 7.

| 7. After 2.2 miles, you arrive at the
entrance to the Activity Centre (which is beside a Ministry of Defence entrance)
at the top of the hill. |
| 8. Drive through the first gates (these
should be open). Continue to the next gates and again go through (PLEASE MAKE
SURE YOU CLOSE THE SECOND SET OF GATES BEHIND YOU EVEN IF THEY WERE OPEN WHEN
YOU ARRIVED). Please continue very slowly and carefully along the track to our
Lodge - this is a farm track and should be respected as such |
